The ClearSource Certification Standard
An independent certification framework for the global lumber trade — rigorous, transparent, and grounded in the forests where harvesting occurs.
More Than a Certificate
ClearSource certification is not a self-reported checklist. Every applicant undergoes independent third-party review of sourcing documentation, supply chain relationships, and replanting activity.
Unlike offset-based programs, our certification requires that replanting occur in the country of harvest — creating direct ecological accountability to the forests being sourced.
Annual reporting ensures that certification is not a one-time event but an ongoing commitment maintained throughout the certification period.
